In Hyderabad, Eat here!

From roadside eateries to star hotels; from breakfast to midnight biryanis; and from mexican cuisine to hyderabadi; this blog attempts to provide you short write-ups for all the places I have eaten so far in Hyderabad!

Without much further ado, if you are looking for reviews of restaurants in Hyderabad by Alphabetic order (I have 403 so far!), click here. The labels to your right also show options for location and cuisine.

Needless to say, there will be continuous updates, and the list is never final! Happy eating!

Times Tiffins

Another nice tiffins place in Miyapur. Their packaging is also quite good. Idly ofcourse is good with their chutneys. Rava Masala Dosa, Upma Pesarattu and Masala dosa all tasted quite good too.

Homely

True to their name, the food is indeed pleasant and homely. 3 rotis with 2 curries of your choice is as simple as it can get. Some of the curries I liked very much are their Special homestyle Hyderabadi chicken, Amristari Dal, Special curry leaf chicken and Pindi Chole. The pickle accompaniment is also quite good 😊.

Idlee Tree

Now don’t imagine a pile of idlis being served to you, ok! Their chutney is very (very) tasty. Idly ofcourse is the staple order from here, but both the Rava Dosa and Masala Dosa are also quite good. The Upma Pesarattu was not as tasty though :). Never been to this place but ordered only on Swiggy.

Jain Kitchen Pure Vegetarian Restaurant.

Sometimes veg restaurants surprise you 😊 by the sheer nature of their taste. This restaurant offers two options for most items – normal Veg and Jain Veg. Their Chinese platter of 6 items came with 6 different flavours too – there was a veg bullet that was cooked on an icecream stick 😉, the spring rolls, the paneer chilly definitely stood out. Their noodles was also very tasty – infact their noodles had a nice street food taste and feel to them! The standard Manchurian was good too. Indian food hasn’t been attempted by us yet here – perhaps the next update will have it!

Urban Kitchen

Haven’t been to this place, but ordered only once online. Ordered their Special fried Rice. Typically, special fried rice means that restaurants will put all types of non-veg available into it! I was also expecting something similar when I placed this order. However, what they sent pleasantly surprised me! Once I open the lid, there is this nice bed of omlette on which some chicken 65 was present! And ofcourse there was rice below the omlette. Being an omlette fan, I simply loved the presentation too! The taste also was quite good. We also ordered Chicken Drumsticks, which also tasted good.
