In Hyderabad, Eat here!

From roadside eateries to star hotels; from breakfast to midnight biryanis; and from mexican cuisine to hyderabadi; this blog attempts to provide you short write-ups for all the places I have eaten so far in Hyderabad!

Without much further ado, if you are looking for reviews of restaurants in Hyderabad by Alphabetic order (I have 403 so far!), click here. The labels to your right also show options for location and cuisine.

Needless to say, there will be continuous updates, and the list is never final! Happy eating!

Four Seasons

Toli Chowki Junction actually offers us some of the best cuisine in Mediterranean.

Four Seasons is one of the best in these. We were a group of seven people, and we ordered a big platter (based on the recommendation of the waiter), and what a recommendation it turned out to be! Each item in that platter competed with the other to be called the best! I can never forget the rich taste the platter had, and would surely recommend to have it when you go there!

If you are not a big group, then you can just order individual items instead of the platter, and be rest assured that you will love the food! The Kabsa Laham is something to die for! The tender and juicy large mutton pieces with an awesome flavoured rice is something you will never forget!

In addition, many other items such as Mutton Soup, Tangdi Kabab, Grill Fish, Chicken and Mutton Biryani are very good.

Mandhar

Well, if you order Apollo Fish, that's when the cost goes up to 500, because Apollo Fish alone costs Rs.200/- !!

This restaurant is located in the same compound as that of Four Seasons. Have the Tangdi Kabab along with the Apollo Fish, and your apetite will be satisfied! Also, the Chicken Biryani here is good, and tastes a little different than other traditional places. If you are working in Hitec City, then this place is just a 15 minute drive, and it so worth it!

I am planning to go to this place many more times, and will keep updating this space with more dishes J

Location: Toli Chowki

Cuisine: Continental

No Buffet

Cost for two: Rs. 500/-

Siddique Kababs

Actually the "meal for two" is a mis-nomer here, for one cannot have a "meal" here :D We have always parceled the food from here, met at Sandeep's place, watched a match, played "7 card" show and dispersed with a heavy stomach! Tangdi Kabab, Tandoori Grilled Chicken (half and full), Reshmi Kabab; I keep forgetting the name, but the chicken is in green colour ;-); all these are very good snack items. Make sure you don't eat the fried rice, or any other item that is put in the dishes there. Not only are they bad, they actually spoil the fun of tasting the truly awesome kababs here.
